VE2LZR Communications Group

Every Summer for the past twenty five years,  amateurs from the Western part of Quebec and the Eastern Part of Ontario have been providing Radio Communications for equestrian events in the St. Lazare,  Quebec area.

Currently the group has members from the Montreal Amateur Radio ClubWest Island Amateur Radio Club the VE2RM Repeater group , The Covey Hill Amateur Radio Club, The Prescott-Russell (Alfred, Ontario) ARES group and the Club Radio Amateur Laval Laurentides

The reason for participating in these Public Service events is to increase the visibility of Amateur Radio, to practice our radio and traffic handling skills and also in a small way, it is a chance for Radio Amateurs from the various clubs to meet in an outdoor setting.

For more information on the St. Lazare Communications Group or any of the VE2LZR events, contact the club for more information.
