At 10h45 EDT (14h45 UTC) I received a call from the President of the Montreal Amateur Radio Club that the Dorval Canada Day festivities had been postponed to tomorrow (July 2) because the weather forcast was not looking very promising. Because the VC2A callsign had been given to another individual for the 2nd and 3rd of July, it means that we could not use it as planned.
However, We will using the VA2RAC callsign instead on July 2, 2001 from Pine Beach Park in Dorval, Quebec.
