On Saturday, July 14, 2001, amateurs from the Montreal Amateur Radio Club took down the tower at the Montreal Association for the Blind building at 7000 Sherbrooke West in preparation to it's reinstallation at the new location next door at 7010 Sherbrooke West.
Earl Paris, VE2ESP and Sheldon Werner, VA2SH would like to thank the following amateurs for stopping by and helping:
Special thanks to Steven, VE2OCT for climbing the tower and to Steven, VA2SMF for arranging to borrow the climbing harness from the Concordia University Amateur Radio Club.
The part of the tower that is buried in the concrete still needs to be removed but that will be done at a later date.
