Radio Amateurs of Canada is pleased to inform the Radio Amateur community of the recent appointment of Mr. Maurice (Moe) LeBlanc (VE1QJ) as an Assistant Director for the RAC Atlantic Region.
Moe resides in St. Basile, NB and is retired from the Université de Moncton where he taught English as a second language, and where he worked in the audio-visual department in electronics and photography. Moe is fluent in French, English, Spanish and German. He worked as a commercial radio operator at Dorval and has been licensed as an amateur since 1950. He is active in both CW and phone, and enjoys SSTV, AMTOR, RTTY and satellite work.
Moe will represent RAC in northwestern New Brunswick and Amateurs in that area are encouraged to contact him.
