Trip to the Red Cross Station

On Wednesday, October 9th,  James Hay (VE2VE), David Melanson (VE2MPD), Paul MacDougall (VA2YQ) and myself visited the Red Cross Station - VE2CRM to test the equipment and see how the dipoles on the roof were holding out.

I am happy to report that other than pulling tight the line on one of the legs of the 20 metre dipole, all appears to be well with the station.

Jim did speak to the Project Co-ordinator about the small things we need to do on finishing off the station and on other special projects that they would like to do in the future.

    Vernon, VE2MBS
