I am pleased to announce to you that I am the Canadian representative on the selection committee of the ARISS School Program.

ARISS (Amateur Radio in the International Space Station) will be recruiting schools which would like to make contact with the International Space Station, by amateur radio.  The School Selection Committee has representatives from the United States, Canada, Russia, Japan, Belgium, Italy and other European Countries.

Preliminary experience with SAREX (Space Amateur Radio Experiment) which preceded ARISS, generated an enormous enthusiasm among the students of the selected schools.
