Today, January 5, 2001, Industry Canada has issued a notice entitled "Notice No. DGRB-001-01 Proposal To Grant Full Operating Priveleges in all Amateur Radio Frequency Bands Below 30 MHz to Amateur Radio Operators Holding a 5 word per minute (w.p.m.) Morse Code Qualification".
This notice will be published in the Canada Gazette on January 6, 2001 and a 60 day consultation period will follow.
