It is now official.  Tomorrow, the 19th of May,  2001, it will be published in the Canada Gazette that Amateur Radio operators holding the Basic plus 5 Words Per Minute (w.p.m.) Certificate may now operate with full operating privileges on the High Frequency (HF) bands below 30 MHz.
